Testimonial of Barbara Heiner
Q: What things turned out better because of Julie’s input?
A: The whole house turned out better. Each room flows and goes together. I was even told that my whole house was a work of art.
Q: What are some ideas that you would not have thought of?
A: My scrapbook room. The storage units were the best idea. She thought of different ways to store items that was still stylish but very effective. The ironing board in the scrapbook room was something that I never would have thought of, but I use it all of the time. The other idea that Inever would have thought of is the mural that we painted on the wall downstairs. It’s beautiful for my grandkids and it makes my home unique. The other thing that I love is that Julie came up with so many different ways to lay the tile in the bathrooms. Each bathroom has its own design on the floor.
Q: Did Julie help in making the process less overwhelming?
A Definitely! My house wouldn’t be my house. The ideas were hers, but she took into consideration what I wanted and it turned out exactly how I wanted it.
Q: Were Julie’s services a good value in terms of fees you paid?
A: Definitely! Without her services, I would have spent money making mistakes.
Q: Did you feel she was representing your interests in keeping within budgets but still suggesting innovative ideas and a variety of possible options?
A: Yes. She knew my budget and she would suggest things and give me a couple of options. The different options would range in price, but they would all look amazing.
Q: Do you feel she worked to reflect your lifestyle and your personal taste in the design and
decorating of your home?
A: Yes. A lot of people come in and say, “This is so you!”
Q: Overall would you say your experience using a designer was:
A- A huge help and definitely better than doing it on your own
B - Slightly better than doing it on your own
C - About the same as doing it on your own
A: I would give my experience a double A. It was so much fun!
